The Church of Scotland website provides visitors with overviews of the issues important to the church. It has a dedicated sections for the different areas of the church, for example, faith and worship, missionary work and the youth.

‘The Church of Scotland in Helensburgh’ is the name of the ‘Parish Grouping’ of the congregations of Park Church, St. Columba Church, and the West Kirk in Helensburgh, formed on the 1st October 2003. The purpose of the Parish Grouping is to encourage co-operation in respect of worship, pastoral care, Christian education, mission, and outreach in the combined parishes of the three congregations. The common work of the Parish Grouping is promoted and co-ordinated by a ‘Working Together’ committee, drawn from members of the three congregations. All proposals are subject to the approval of the Kirk Session, and where necessary, the financial court of each of the three congregations.

Christian Aid

The Christian Aid is a charity running in the UK and Ireland. The purpose of this group is to raise money for the world's poorest countries. Out of every pound they receive, they divide into:

This is a worthwhile charity and its website provides details of the work they do worldwide. The site also provides an opportunity for people to donate money towards their cause.

Clyde View

Clyde View is a Church of Scotland residential home located in Helensburgh. Although it is a church home, a membership of the Church of Scotland is not required. The website details everything you will need to know about Clyde View. It details the accommodation arrangements, costs, contact details, care plans and services the home provides.

Contraflow

Contraflow is a youth project within Helensburgh and its surrounding area teaching teenagers about God and the Bible. The website for the Contraflow group provides younger members of the church with all the news and information about events in the local area - including group meetings at Hermitage Academy .

COSY - Church of Scotland Youth

COSY provides a lot of information for the youth - and perhaps the older members of the church. For example, they provide stories, quizzes and provides the latest news from the National Youth Assembly.

Girl's Brigade

The Girl's Brigade website holds information for Leaders, Explorers, Juniors or Brigaders. It provides recipe ideas and creative ideas for website visitors to try with their groups. The site also has a mail order service for uniforms and other Girl's Brigade material.

Tearfund

Tearfund is aims to reduce the suffering and offer hope to the world's poorest people. Only 8% of the income they receive from individuals and churches is used for advertising.

The site provides visitors with a wide range of information about the fundraising and the work done by the Tearfund foundation. The charity cannot run without help from others, whether it be time, money or prayers. The website has an online shop and donation links. This website is well worth the visit.
